Healthy Ways To Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth | stRIDE Spin & Fitness

Life is all about balance, we will never hold you back from eating that extra donut or skipping your Sunday pilates class to brunch with your friends, but who says you cannot have it all?


We wanted to share some of our favorite snacks that will satisfy your sweet tooth so you can always have a post workout treat! Did you know that you can get Bryn and Dane’s delivered right to the studio for after any class (yes, this includes 5:45). Just make sure your credit card is hooked up to your MindBody account and place your order before class! We always want to make sure our clients are living their best life at stRIDE so yes, this means smoothies after class.


Here are some of our favorite healthy sweet treats!


Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Nice Cream



1 frozen banana, chunked

2 teaspoons cocoa powder

1 tablespoon peanut butter

Dark chocolate chips (optional)


Put frozen banana chunks in the bowl of a food processor or blender. Pulse until smooth.

Add any additional mix-ins if desired. Pulse until combined and serve immediately.


Chia Seed Berry Crumble



1 Cup of Raspberries (or any other fruit of your choice)

⅓ Cup of Sprouted Whole Grain Flour

½ Cup Oats

2 Tbsp of Chia Seeds





Put the berries in a glass baking dish and drizzle butter and honey on top.

Mix together the flour, oats, chia seeds, and more butter until it has a crumbly consistency.

Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes.


Almond Butter Brownies


1 Cup of Dates (soak them in hot water to soften)

¾ Cups of Cacao Powder

1 Cup of Almond Butter

⅓ Cup of Almond Milk

1 Flax Egg (or 1 tbsp of flaxseed + 3 tbsp of water)

1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract

½ Tbsp of Baking Powder

½ Tsp of Salt

½ Cup of Chocolate Chips



Mix all of the ingredients together and place it in a baking pan. Set the oven to 350 and cook for 15-20 minutes.
